Pyramide was my first stop one morning, as it was located furthest away from where I was going. It is a tomb built for a praetor named Caius Cestius in 12 BCE. It is interesting due to its shape, but certainly not one of the 'wonders' tourists flock to see in Rome. |
Right behind it, however, is a place that people do go. It is the Protestant cemetery, where English poets John Keats and Percy Bysshe Shelley are buried |
