And so here it is - that shining symbol of the city. HUGE (yes, I should have known that, but man is it big) and towering, even in the cloudy rain it is a gorgeous sight.

Clockwise from left: approaching from the Metro stop, you catch this glimpse from between the buildings; from across the river at night; the moon came out as the sun went down; and looking straight up from below (the green is netting to stop debris such as bird droppings from falling).
