Our destination on several trips during
the 92-93 school year. We drove through and flew to Tikal during Christmas
break, and visited many more sites during the Great Maya Expedition of
Spring Break.
TWe clambored around on 20-year old scaffolding
that surrounds some of the temples, left over from excavations done by
the University of Pennsylvania.
