Library and government building

The city library was my introduction to the scale of everything that I was going to encounter. I could've spent all afternoon just checking it out - but there was lots more to see.

Across the street was a magnificent government building, overlooking a huge square. Complete with griffons, statues, and pillars, it seemed like the heart of all that was going on in the city.
