Grandma's trip 2000
After ten days of pouring rain, the sun came out just long enough for us to visit the beautiful Pulhapanzak waterfalls. 
  
Misty Falls
We trekked an hour out of San Pedro through the fertile Sula valley.  We were in luck because it was prime sugar cane harvest.  Lumbering trucks filled with freshly cut cane over ran the highway and the smell of burning sugar filled the air.

While Breck digs for potatoes, Grandma and mom enjoy the falls from the top of the hiking trail.
Alea gives mommy a work out: she got a lift down all the stairs to the bottom of the falls!
