We went in mid-November, when things are
a bit chilly and damp, but we got to see a bit of the 'real' city, minus
hordes of tourists
We saw a number of buskers, including one man who brought his mini-tuba onto the train. Of course, even an accordian player has to check his messages every so often! |
Luckily for us, there were the ubiquitous mini-markets scattered everywhere. One of our favorite dinners was self catered - roasted chicken, baguettes, and a bottle of the Beaujolais Nouveau. |
