and just in case your hand does get crushed, you can run across the street and soak it in the fountain Just down the road is the San Giorgio in Velabro, a basilica built originally in the 600s (and damaged extensively by a car bomb in the 1990s!). There was a wedding going on in here when I walked by, so I didn't go inside. |
