Just walking across the Charles Bridge (during the low season, nonetheless!) took over 45 minutes, what with the amount of 'stuff' to look at. There were stands of artwork (pictures, jewellry, carvings, etc), artists at work, puppeteers, and buskers (street musicians) all vying for your attention and spare change.

Prague abounds with places to eat and drink, ranging from hole-in-the-wall cafes to trendy resturants to 5-star centers of haute cuisine.

And if that isn't enough, there are flower shops, antique shops, crystal shops, clothing stores, book stores, music stores - everything the well-heeled tourist could need or want...

But of course we were here for a reason, so let's go back to the tournament...
