Laura Ingalls tripping


Mom has started reading me the "Little House" books, and I've become fascinated by Laura	Coming back from Spring break, we stopped in DeSmet	There I got to see just where some of the stories took place

We even found the old homestead site and the cottonwood trees Pa planted!!


Later we visited Pepin, WI, where I collected shells like Laura	At the local museum, mom and I practiced making butter by hand


Then Breck and I got all dressed up (aprons, tattoos)	(and even a swimsuit!) to visit a recreated settler cabin
