Down at Grandpa's farm!!
Provo, Utah
"Down at Grandpa's farm" probably means different things to different families, but to us, there is only one such place. The highlight of our trip was the pleasant time we spent doing basically nothing on the "Back Achers" along the Provo River. We spent days playing in the picnic area, trying to feed the cows, 'driving' the tractor, running in the orchard, exploring Bridal Veil Falls, eating watermelon and making ice cream, all in the company of grandparents, great-grandparents, cousins (1st, 2nd, twice-removed, twice baked, etc. etc.), aunts, uncles, and various assorted hangers-on.
It was certainly a wonderful reminder that there is always family in Utah, and the hugs and stories exchanged reinforced the need for us to make it back more often.
Grandpa and Grandma Stutz
The most wonderful part of the visit was, of course, the chance to see Grandma and Grandpa again
Hi Greatgrandma!
Breck was especially enamored of his great grandmother
Watch out! Here I come!!

Truth be told, however, sprinklers did run a close second among the kids!!

Hmm. Now what do I do?
Sour grapes - I love 'em
As far as the kids were concerned, the grapes were among the prime attractions
and even though they weren't quite in season, that didn't stop any of them from partaking!!
Get outta my way, you crazy cow!
The tractor got some serious play...

As did the orchard
(Susan and Breck in a quiet moment)
if I've told you once, I've told you a million times...
"No Breck, you can't come up in my tree!"
there's just so much good food here, we had to have a page for it!
