What a wonderful week in Udaipur!
We have, finally, found a place in India where we would be happy to bring
family and friends. Placid Lake Pichola reflects the rolling hills,
layered rooftops, distinctive windows, starry nights and fairytale palaces
all surrounding its perimeter.
Udaipur is a very special place and we
were fortunate to have spent a week meandering its bazaars, alleys, museums
and palaces. Equally exciting was the time we spent at two home stays
– both in rural villages just outside Udaipur.
