Bed and Breakfast and Wine

We stayed in a fantastic agro-tourist bed and breakfast our third night. It was nestled in the Zagorje hills surrounded by vineyards. We had fabulous meals and wonderful walks around the farm. The kids were crazy about the goats and donkeys that grazed the fields and Susan was amazed at the ambience that the proprietors were able to create out of a multitude of old 'stuff'.

We saw locals harvesting their grapes and preparing them for the barrels. We sampled (a few too many) varieties of wine and slivovica (at 10:00 a.m.!!!). Old grape presses were in abundance; supporting roofs, making tables for dining, and creating picnic gazebos for tourists.
