Susan and Dave headed out for a weekend
getaway to Dubrovnik. This 4-day parents only time is a fine tradition
now in its second year (last year we
went to Paris). While Alea and Breck were chilling with Jelena in Belgrade,
we explored the southernmost tip of the Croatian coast.
We
landed in Tivat, Montenegro, at an airport surounded on three sides by
mountains and the other by the sea.
To get to Croatia, we headed north to
Hercig Novi to rent a car with Coratian license plates (since those with
Serbian plates - especially from Belgrade - are still not very popular
in the Dubrovnik region).
To get there, we took a car ferry
across the same fjord inlet that leads to Kotor.
