Putting a Stereotype to Poetry
Stereotypes are inherently simplistic
- they attempt to characterize many people based on a few attributes. As
such, they lend themselves to poetry. We're going to use stereotypes to
create a style of poetry to help understand how oversimplified a view of
life they can project.

A cinquain is a 5-line poem that follows
a pattern:
