Dress Code

We are proud of the appearance of J.M. students and hope it will continue. Teachers will ask students to dress with consideration for health, safety and appropriateness to the classroom.

Employment Regulations

Students who are enrolled in work study programs will be released from school prior to 3:35 p.m. and will receive credit towards graduation. Those students who have jobs and DO NOT qualify for the work study program will not be excused before 3:35 p.m. The school recognizes that there may be emergencies and hardship cases which might warrant early dismissal. If you have such a situation, please contact your counselor or Mr. Johnson.

All students are expected to eat their lunches in Area 4. Hot lunches may be eaten only in the cafeteria, cold lunches may be eaten in the cafeteria or in the student center. When ice cream is sold it should be eaten in the cafeteria or in the student center. No food should be eaten in the halls. All waste paper should be put into containers provided.

We are proud of our lunch period conduct. Remember to take trays and silverware to the conveyor belt located along the south wall of the cafeteria. Leave your table clean--NOTHING should be left on it.

School Song

We’re all pals together
Comrades, bird of a feather
Fighting pals, striving pals,
Driving pals, winning pals,
For Alma Mater
Pals say we’re brothers
Pull for each other
For if you choose, you’ll never lose
But give your best to your high school
Fight for J.M. High
