The massive city of Teotihuacan,
just outside of Mexico City
During the Christmas
vacation of 1992, Susan and I flew from Honduras to the Houston, bought
a truck, and drove back to Honduras. The majority of that trip took place
in Mexico, and we've included a few picutures from that trip (including
the one above).
In 2000, Dave repeated much
of the same trip, again driving down to Honduras with a truck. This time,
however, he wasn't with Susan, and the main purpose of the trip was just
to 'get there,' not to play the tourist. You can find the story
about the drive down in 2000, as well as pictures from El
Tajin, Tonina, and Palenque.
