We had heard the fort held traditional concerts every night, so asked about reservations at the main gate. There were some confused looks and some long conversations before it became clear that we were there 'not during a tourist time'.

However, given we were a family of FOUR, there would be a special performance just for us! As luck would have it, three other ASB teachers were traveling through Jodhpur that weekend (Glenda, Jennifer and Bron) and they were interested in joining us for the festivities.
