Ganesh Fest '09 - Parading towards the beach

We caught up with some of these parades on different days of the festival:

For the smaller idols, there are lots of modes of transport available.

Ganesh sometimes gets to ride in a truck.	Ganesh sometimes gets to ride on a wheeled cart.
Ganesh sometimes gets to ride with an umbrella.	Ganesh sometimes gets to ride on a head.

Ganesh even sometimes gets to ride in a rickshaw!**

Smiles, everybody - smiles!! Brother and sister, on the way to the beach, and a dude covered in red paint with a white hat and huge chaw. Awesome..
