A typical day...

A normal day in the life starts with waking up people around the house.

After a shower, a trip to the kitchen and some coffee is usually the first thing on our minds.

Waking up Susan is never an easy task

Breck is usually cuddled up with his stuffed animals (in this picture even has Freddy the Frog from school). And even though Alea is usually awake by this time, it is tough to get her out of her comfortable bed and room!

The kids get dressed with us in our room

We pet Midnight and Snowball

and then we are all ready for school!

after school is usually a great time to play outside

after dinner we read and do homework together

and end the evening with a bath or appropriate substitute!

while the beer fridge and hookah keep a silent vigil in the basement
