MathCounts group

Dave took a group of 8 students to Prague for a Math Counts competition. We had to be at the school by 5:45 am, so no one was really feeling their oats that morning. We were excited about going, but not at that hour...

Running into Harry Potter at the airport cheered them all up (even if he was just made out of Legos)
Of course, that excitement didn't last when we saw the plane we were taking, or the mountains we were passing!!

What amused me, however, was the interest that everyone had in fast food and fast seagulls. We spent the first 2 hours in downtown Prague (which none of us had visited before) eating KFC and feeding the river's edge seagulls

eventually we did get out exploring...

and shopping...

and really having a great time!!

And oh yeah, there was this math tournament we were supposed to go to...

all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy - check out downtown Prague
