The Stutz's Page for
International Educators
A resource for those interested in teaching around the world

Contents:

Web page address links to International Schools  General Resource Sites

  • This is by no means a comprehensive listing of international schools; merely a compilation of those I've found and had the time to incorporate into this project. The addresses are compiled from a variety of sources on the Web, and I can provide no assurance of the up-to-dated-ness of them all.
  • There are certainly schools who should be here that aren't, schools that shouldn't be here that are, and links that no longer work. For this I apologize, but keeping up a site like this would be a full-time job.
If you know of a school that is not listed here or find one of the aforementioned issues, however, I will fix it. PLEASE e-mail me with the info.
A quick run-down of this site:
  • December 2000 - the first overhaul since the summer of 1998 is initiated! I have added quite a number of new schools. Now, of course, all that's left to do is to actually go through and verify all the links. Sigh. Maybe I'll have that done in another 2 years. Caveat emptor
  • These pages were initially produced as a personal project for a University of Michigan School of Natural Resources and Environment course taken in the winter term of 1998. They are intended to provide a resource for educators wishing to make contact with international schools around the globe.
  • Flag graphics obtained from Flags of the World and dividers and other graphics from Icon Bazaar. All pages laid out and formatted using Netscape Communicator.
  • Special thanks to my wife Susan, daughter Alea, and son Breck for trying to be so understanding when daddy would put in all those hours 'playing'on the computer!

General Resource Sites

The European Council of International Schools: The definitive organization for schools throughout Europe.

Central and Eastern European Schools Association: Organization for eastern European international schools.

Expatriate Resources on the Internet: A handy guide to information you outta know.

International Baccalaureate: A program comparable to (better than?) the AP that is much more common internationally.

Overseas Brats: An extensive listing of sites run by and looking for people who grew up overseas- a great way to find old friends.

The Stutz's Page for Educators: Another reference-type page I've put together that includes all sorts of links to sites related to teaching. Useful once you've found that perfect locale!
