Alea moved to Mumbai, India when she was 10. There are lots of pictures of her travel adventures linked from the India page.

She traveled around India using many different forms of transport and eating food served in ways she'd never seen before!
She drove a hard bargain in the Jaipur clothing shops	But had a soft spot in her arms for Adelaided.

She, Breck, and mom were sometimes happy with all the pictures that dad took of them (but also got tired of them, from time to time!)

Through Muslim expressions of love and Hindu depictions of immortality.
Her explorations of culture took her from sand art at the school...	To fortresses around the country

But wherever Alea went - on a tiger safari in Ranthambore, to the wooded hill station of Matheran, or on the sandy Goa beaches - she had a smile

She (and the family) took vacations through Rajasthan, saw fancy buildings in Mumbai, and Buddhist caves in Aurangabad
